We are thrilled to announce the construction of a borehole in Kitanga Village, a community where access to clean water has been a daily challenge. Currently, women and children walk 7 to 10 kilometers to access water. This long journey often results in missed school days for the children, severely impacting their education.
The installation of this borehole will directly benefit 955 individuals, including 455 school children and 500 members of the community. With the borehole in place, the villagers will no longer need to walk these exhausting distances, ensuring that the children can attend school regularly and that women have more time for other important activities, leading to an overall improvement in the community’s well-being.
We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our partners:
Bambisana – Eine Helfende Hand and DRK OV Dreis-Tiefenbach e.V.. Your commitment is making a real difference in the lives of Kitanga’s people, helping provide them with sustainable access to clean water and a brighter future.
Together, we are changing lives and ensuring a healthier and more prosperous future for Kitanga Village. Thank you!
