Uganda has experienced significant deforestation in recent decades, leading to soil degradation, loss of biodiversity, and increased vulnerability to climate change. The Reforestation Initiative aims to reverse these trends by planting trees in deforested and degraded areas. We engage local communities, schools, and youth groups in tree-planting activities, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for the environment. This initiative not only helps restore ecosystems but also provides long-term benefits such as improved soil fertility, water retention, and carbon sequestration.
